Starting a regular practice, whether it is Yin or a more active, strong type of yoga allows you to connect to the 'real' you. Not the person who has to rush around for work, or for your family or whatever stresses you face.
Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance for other physical activities. After a workout, yoga will help your body relax while stretching and strengthening. Yin yoga can also be helpful for maintaining range of motion after injury.
Calming the mind and slowing the stream of thought is one of the great benefits most people find in their yoga practice. Whether this is in meditation or through our asana, there is always opportunity for calm and peaceful reflection
